Welsh Arsenal players past and present - Merged SUPER Thread

Post by neil316 »

Hi all, I have just recently written an article looking at the best ever players to come from South Wales outside of Cardiff, Swansea and Newport. The reason I am posting it on here is because it includes 5 players who played the majority of their careers for Arsenal and thought I would share it with you. Let me know what you think.

https://y-ddraig.co.uk/.../11/12/rest-o ... st-ever-xi

I am in the middle of writing an article looking at the history of Welsh players for Arsenal, so watch this space!

Good article mate quite interesting reading about plenty of players i didnt really know. :barscarf:

Quite a niche market though, try writing about Wizards and that, you'll earn much more money

Where's Jack Kelsey? Arsenal & Wales GK 1950's used to work in the Highbury club shop. 8)

Before my time but Herd  from older generations of fans he was a great keeper back in the day. Always had a friendly welcome for supporters in the Clock End shop. :barscarf:

b4 my time playing wise ,but met him in the shop many times ,I tried to sell him some classy t-shirts sweatshirts etc,,clock end stuff and lacoste size cannons on polo shirts but he only wanted stuff with massive cannons on it which was a shame but I had already had about 500 made so sold them myself and made a few quid . Also took him a really nice solid gold Arsenal badge which a herdsman jeweler did ,he said no one would buy such things ......we sold 150 of them, our spurs friends were green with envy ,they were class.
