Be interesting to see what team he puts out as Liverpool loom large. My feeling is Wenger won't care about this, a loss to Liverpool will pile the pressure on him so this cup will need to be sacrificed. I think he'll be relieved to ditch one of these comps, he hasn't the ability, nor the players to juggle all these comps, plus at his age all this travelling around in the freezing cold must be really getting to him.
In the near future I expect to see him with a nice wooly rug over his legs and a steaming cup of cocoa in his gnarled paws.
It's all about the 'expected goals' mate
Actually I could have finished that last sentence on the word "pretty".

My understanding of it, was that he got dumped and in order to cheer himself up he bought a Sewing Machine so he could make his very own Tennis Outfits in (Lady Penelope) Pink.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2017 9:46 amI do indeed. pressure on Wenger...up come Newcastle ready for the beating....3-0 home win
Re: Arsenal v Newcastle Saturday 16 December 3pm.... (Who will win the sewing machine??)
Just to clarify, do I stand a better chance of winning the sewing machine if I forget the game is on or if I remember but don't watch it?
Also what if I watch the game but forget that I've watched it?!

You stand the best chance if you change your name to G88ner and wear bright pink and gay colours! and carry a tennis racket.

You also need to factor in 'net spend' and 'external resources' of the 'financially-doped' 'Sports Direct'-money GeordiesGoonerMuzz wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 7:31 pmOkaaaaaaaay but when you add in the possession % and total pass numbers it gets really really bad and my HND level maths and science can't keep up, surely it was just easier when it was measured in goals for and against to decide who won the match.xisstential wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 6:04 pmObviously you cannot expect goals if you cannot adjust your finishing. Anyway a struggling Newcastle are bound to get a boost this weekend
Ivan's right IMO, at 7th place below the Scum and oil-barons Burnley we're vastly overachieving
