Bournemouth (A) 14th Jan 13.30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Technically can Bournemouth sing "Dirty Northern Bastards" to everyone they play?

Definitely whilst they are in the PL. I think Plymouth is further south... so unless Argyle get promoted out of the third tier or B'Mouth have a couple of absolutely minging seasons they are good to go! :D

What gets me is how the away fans travel to see this shit....surely they are thinking wait a minute this is rubbish,
Rubbish which is costing me money....
To be honest, away games are more about the whole day. Travelling up with fellow supporters and having a few beers in a nice pub. The actually football is just a small part of the day.

I've done a few away trips with Southend United this season and some people haven't actually made the game because the football is so poor (even worse than the Arsenal's away form).
TBH the only thing that annoyed me about gooing yesterday was the pain in the arse journey, if it had just been a normal trip it would've been fine, I don't expect anything other than a shit performance now.

Most of the players wouldn't come over to us because they knew they'd get abuse, I really enjoyed giving Walcunt abuse before the final whistle.

You never know, Torquay may make a comeback into The League one day, then theres Truro City, snuggled in the Vanarama Southern League, but 2 promotions from the League

Christ on a bike, someone other than us on here recognise the problem albeit far too late - when do us W.O.B’s get the apology from the press, pundits ex players for actually being right all along ? Oh yes, never.

Indeed mate. The whole thing is a joke.

I always think situations like this show that fans know their club better than anyone else.

These self-appointed or fabricated ''experts'' in the media never spot problems earlier than the fans do. And even the better journalists like Henry Winter took years to grasp that Wenger was a problem ... only acknowledging it when it was impossible to say otherwise.

There is no foresight offered from these people, you only hear them talk with the benefit of hindsight. But there still seems to be a belief that nothing is true until those in the game, or those respected in the media, confirm it for us

Smashed 3-0 by league 1 Wigan. Puts our defeat in perspective. Our players/ manager should be ashamed.
