Bould is on £30k a week. Just for putting out a few cones and sitting next to Lord Sith - If he speaks up against his lord and master he is gone - If he stays schtumm he'll get a wage rise next June.
How do you know this??
you have no idea what Bould does on a daily basis, what his thoughts are or what he says...........
Oooooooooooooooh! Hissy Hissy fit.

It is public knowledge what his salary is....as for the rest have you ever seen him do/ say anything other than chew gum and nod, with the occasional mumble of a few things to wenger AND put out the cones for pre-match warm-ups.

Why? Who are you his 'wife' ?
I'm merely pointing out that just because on match days all you do is see him lay out cones and chew gum do you really believe that is all he does? so at training he does nothing? never speaks or trains the players? never contributes with the rest of the coaching team?
You would rather make stuff up and moan about the way he chews gum and the look on his face than actually acknowledge he has a job, he is a number 2, please tell me another number 2 anywhere that supposedly does more than Bould, maybe he should jump around on the touchline like Conte to keep you happy?
Are you real or what!?

Bold does "Exactly" and "Only" what Wenger Tells him to do -and nothing beyond or outside of that.

He is not allowed any free reign whatsoever - He (sadly) sadly not allowed to use his vast knowledge and experience in any way near the capacity he could and should. It is well known by everyone (except yourself apparently) that Arsenal do not 'Practise Defending' (That's defending in the way that all the other managers/coaches do) ie: Practising endless defensive strategies and manoeuvres on the pitch...Wenger's idea of defending is Zonal Marking - That (Lack of thorough defending strategies till they can do it in their sleep, combines with the shilly-shallying Zonal marking that see's 4 of our players all ball watching and running towards the ball like moths to a lightbulb, instead of marking their given zone and the opposition player in that area of the penalty area....that is one of the main reasons why we concede so many goals from free-kicks.

When wenger arrived the defence was running like clock-work and he didn't have to do a thing nor worry about it because

A) The players had been thoroughly drilled in and so knew Defending strategies and procedures inside out and arse backwards because they had been coached by the best

B) The Defenders knew How & when to Tackle, How to Get close or drop off their man, and they knew exactly where each other was.

None of these things are practised day in day out by wenger...the only time he has allowed proper defensive drills was in the 2006 Season when due to injury we had a make-shift defence and Martin keown drilled them daily for weeks on end - And they conceded so few goals in the latter half of the season and especially in the CL and one of the reasons we got to the Final.

What you need to ask is Why Is Arsenal's Defence So Bad? - It is not because Bouldy is mis-coaching them it is because he isn't allowed to.

So what else does he do for his £30k a week?

Although if you really believe that the back 4 of Cole -Toure - Campbell and Lauren went unbeaten for a whole season with NO defensive training being applied you are very naive

Bould wasnt coaching that team ffs, and you have already said that wenker doesnt do the defensive coaching, so is it logical to suggest that whoever did the work then is better than bould is ? You are so busy being a condescending arsehole that you havent even noticed that you are contradicting yourself

Boulds daughter goes to a 1.2m a year private school. He’s lubed up and is taking an Arsene pummelling for his family. Sad but true. A real man would challenge Wonga.

The Opening Poster wants 'the heat turned up on Bould'.

What would he like to see? Tens of thousands marching from Highbury to the Soul-less bowl? Boycotting of games? A 'thanks for being a great defender, but we're pretty sure you're a shit assistant manager so please fuck off' banner?

And if he's successful, so what? How will it affect anything?

Wenger and Kroenke should be the only targets.

Targeting bould should be waaaay down our list of priorities, but at the same time he is bringing nothing to the table as far as I am concerned - either he is allowed input and is fcuking useless, or he is not allowed contribute anything but is willing to accept that for a £1m+ per season salary, but either way he is pointless and contributing zero
Some are quite happy to defend bould by dismissing the perception fans of bould (the assistant manager) basically by just saying that they are wrong.......why doesnt he tell us all what bould does do that should exempt him from critcisim from fans ? He wont do that cos it is far easier to defend bould based on nothing but a spell playing for the club many moons ago

If I had my way this fucking useless prick would be thrown out the door after Wenger before it had time to close.

It’s not about whether any other assistant would come in and fundamentally change things or beat sense into Wenger - they wouldn’t so don’t even bother using that as a straw man argument.

The reality is that this bloke is the biggest AKB around having spent his entire coaching career under Wenger and settled for sitting next to him on the bench rather than looking to move into management (which he could easily have done).

Anybody who thinks that he is part of any post-Wenger solution is fucking mad frankly. The entire place needs to be scoured when Wenger finally fucks off and this bloke would be at the front of the queue. Primorac, Grimandi and Mertesacker would also be getting an express P45.

When a team is poor, everyone is a target, why should Bould escape the wrath...
He is part of the Management team, and it is not working, if he does have his wings clipped the he should show some ambition and apply for a vacant managers job, not as if he has not got the knowledge...
Don Howe was a good No2 at club and international level, always got his message across and had a tactical brain, never really made it as a No1, but was always in demand...
As for Bould, nice guy, but Wenger walks all over him, that's what Wenger wants...
Also as many will know, they are comfortable, just like their paymasters, don't rock the boat and fill yer boots!....

OneBard, augie - let's tone it down a bit huh? No need for personal insults.

For the record elpelsarmy has been a member here since 2006 - longer than either of you - and is not a WUM.

Also (in general) this habit on here of turning on anyone that differs from the agenda / party line of "hate Wenger no matter what" has got to stop. It's turning this forum into a one-dimensional brainwashed grouping as bad as anything we accuse the AKB of tbh.

You have to wonder what's going on now or whether the training is essentially the same and the players themselves make all the difference. And because of the quality elsewhere (Gilberto to begin with, good cover by lunjberg and parlour, and the assorted attacking threats).
