You can repeat this for any new players we bring in or at least until we get shot of the pathetic defence and midfield we currently employ.GranadaJoe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:55 pmWelcome to The Arsenal, Henrikh.
This is what we've got planned for your induction week:
Day 1: Arrive full of hope
Day 2: Start to wonder when somebody is going to start to coach the team
Day 3: Match Day!!! Sit in silence before the match.
Warm the bench
Come on into the middle of an abject away performance, too late to influence anything.
Lose.
Day 4: Start to realise this is what Arsenal life is all about (still, at least no-one seemed angry about last night's defeat!).
Day 5: Lose all hope.
Day 6: Realise you're now one of the gang. Relax, take the money, and try to find a hobby you enjoy.
Any questions?
Mkhitaryan..... merged thread.

Talking about the pathetic defence and midfield
McGuane can play out wide, or even in defence, but his favoured role is in the heart of midfield.
Strong, powerful and athletic, he protects the back four but can go from box to box and has started to add goals to his game, as he showed for the U23s against Everton last year.
Having previously represented the Republic of Ireland at under-17 level, McGuane has since gone on to play for England’s under-18 team.
What has Wenger said about him?
The Arsenal boss has always been impressed by the versatility McGuane possesses.
Talking about the teenager, Wenger said: "McGuane is a defensive midfielder, he can play wing-back or even centre-back. In training sometimes he plays with us at centre-back."

The contract situation
McGuane was in the final six months of his contract at Arsenal , So we sell him to Barcelona , Defensive midfielder from our own academy We don't want his sort around here do we.

Welcome indeed. And how are you enjoying the Abou Diaby Medical Centre?
Apparently it's knee ligaments.... it's "hoped" he'll be back "before the end of the season" but will definitely "miss the next 3 games".
