Östersunds FK (H) | Europa League R32 | Thu 22 Feb 20:05

Up next. Will we put them out of their misery and shut down the game, or contrive to throw the tie with a pub side with the League Cup final just three days after? 8)

It would feel great to finally progress from a European knockout round for the first time since 2010, even if the next round will be much tougher to advance from, with the draw on the 23rd. I just can't see TOF winning this competition, even if he wanted to do so. Between that and no chance of the VT, there won't be any Be All and End All and the associated wonga for TOF and The Syrup next season. The next level is the next level! :barscarf:

No need to play any of the players who are likely to start the Cup final. Mkhi can't play in the final so I would give him a run out in this game as our creative option.

Start Nketiah, Nelson and Willock.

The Swedish pubbers will be scared shitless in our gigantic (half empty) stadium so put out the ressies, kids and duds and we will still win 3 or 4 nil. Unless he starts pennophobic Kryten in goal in which case we will win 3 or 4 - 1.

The mickey mouse cup final has to be the priority but then we do have a total fuckhead for a manager...

Ospina starts we win 4-0. Then get knocked out in the next round.

Sadly that's the truth. So far we've played the worst team in the Bundesliga (10 points from safety!), Belarus's finest and Red Star, followed by the pubbers of Northern Sweden. We've looked absolute gash in most of those games at times - first half v Cologne was pathetic, both games against Red Star and all but the first 30 mins in Borisov. Personally after the opening 30 in Sweden I found it a difficult watch too. The defence give the ball away trying to play it out like mindless, uncoached limpdicks and were it not for a collection of some of the wankiest strikers in Europe fluffing their lines we'd have conceded far more. Play that way against anyone half decent - Lyon, Villareal, Dortmund, Lazio, Atletico etc - and we'll be gone

Newport, Rochdale the Sutton and Lincoln equivalent and we didn't need replays.
Got to add, they should have made Spurs play their FA cup games away from Wembley, kind of kills the incentive of the teams they've played at Wembley.

Spurs should have played their all their home games while the Swamp was being redeveloped at the tax funded London Stadium..as should Chelsea when their turn comes .

Dont agree with that at all - they are renting the place to play their home games there, and if they are drawn at home then of course they should be played at wembley.
What I will say though, is if they get to the fa semi finals, then that game should not be played at wembley - these games are meant to be played at a neutral venue, and whilst I dont expect the cup final to be moved, their semi should def be moved to mancland or scouseland

I understand that point and I think Newport and Rochdale will agree with you. Their incentive of progressing is minimised by getting a replay played at the "iconic" venue. Then again Wembley has devalued it's status by renting out for a season.

Wemberlee devalued it's status by letting that filthy vermin rent it. It's like if renowned actress Meryl Streep started doing dog porn.
