Iwobi is up there among the worst Arsenal players to play meaningful time, ever.

Right there with Fat Santos and Sideways Denilson.

Well- SHIT
You just knew he wasn't going to tuck that away, he has all the composure of Dwayne Dibley crossed with Alex Hleb.
The whole left side of the goal gaping and he mishits it straight at the keeper.

Toilet.

Apparently this is just a ploy for anyone we might meet later on to make them think that we're a pushover :barscarf: :barscarf:

Nice to see us get out of a European knockout round for the first time in eight years, even if it was almost a clusterfuck

Another half-arsed lineup, with the bench filled out with pubbers. More UEFA bollocks with our having to play in our away kit. The first twenty minutes was absolutely tedious shite. As standard for us, there was tons of sideways and backwards passing from our shot-shy pussies and casual park-level defending which proved a bad omen, as Östersunds scored twice in 69 seconds while our inept defence was caught on the break, as they always are. I even seen the second goal coming as it was so textbook for us. This blew the tie wide open, which damningly for us, was somewhat unsurprising.

This partly woke up the quarter-absent Cashburton crowd from their slumber, but typically we failed to get any genuine shots on target and work their keeper on anything other than a loose ball. TOF finally deigned to give some direction to the players towards the end of the half, which only happens when things are desperate.

Robbie Cúnting Savage and his mate Ian Darke, who Savage has insisted on calling 'Darkie', laughably suggested that The Old Fraud would have to give a rousing team-talk after such a shit half from us. Even AKB Number One Martin Keown suggested that, even though he knows TOF doesn't give traditional/tactical team talks, given how he himself had to give a crucial team-talk during the Invincibles season which saved the run when it looked like it might be lost. TOF is as useful as tits on a boar. Keown points out the obvious in our now-predictable failings, but never calls out the miserable old cúnt who is responsible: TOF himself.

Incredibly, TOF broke his 70 minutes rule and made a half-time substitution. We had to rely on our left-back Kolasinac to actually get a shot on target and score, mercifully putting us 4-2 up in the tie. We were more dangerous for a little while, before the game settled into tedium again. This team just hate pressing and being aggressively attacking, raining shots on goal. Östersunds' goalkeeper is awful and yet we fail to take advantage. We usually fail to excite the crowd and the viewers, only ever aggravating them it seems.

Wilshere was taken off for a pubber shortly after being hurt, so the post 70 rule was at least observed. More dull pedestrian shite for the rest of the half. Östersunds looked more likely to score than we did. Not even getting a draw on the night is an embarrassment. Welbeck missed a good chance to level it on the night at 90 minutes. Absolute shite.

It will be interesting to see who we draw in the next round tomorrow. We will be lucky to progress with this team. Sadly, with league games utterly pointless to watch live whilst TOF remains here forever, our shite team-selections, performances and attitudes out on the pitch have made these cup games an utter chore to watch this season. It has sucked all of the joy out of the sheer novelty of being in a winnable European competition for a change. Here's hoping we somehow get a good result in the final on Sunday to avoid yet another trophyless season. UTA.

Wellwide doesnt deserve to be in the same breath as Hleb. Hleb had his issues but he was 100x the player Wellwide is.

well, I guess that's a pretty pleasing evening with us qualifying and Napoli knocked out. Shame Dortmund scraped through.

We were proper shite tonight though.
