Some people recently disagreed with me when i said that any new manager would have to change 10-15 players, i stand by my argument that there are many players in this team who are not good enough and never will be no matter who the manager is

It isn't the players, it's the manager, a decent manager would be pissing this tonight with this team

Mark i'm not saying a decent manager couldn't improve them but there is only so much you can do with individual players, the skill and mentality of far too many of our players is lacking and a decent tactical setup will not change it enough for us to meaningfully challenge with these players.

The ability of the reserve/backup players is just far far too poor and crucially some of our younger players have learned their bread and butter introduction to senior football under Wenger rather than a good coach, to reverse skills learnt in your formative years is very very difficult. The bog standard footballing intelligence is just not there in many of these players and what should be by now the equivalent of muscle memory in terms of positioning, movement and decision making is lacking and cannot be retrained to the standard a successful challenging team needs.
