Any idea of the crowd, was it an all time low for the Emirates?
Certainly looked like it to me on TV, I'd guess around the 40K mark (at the 'peak' time).

Pretty strong line up of teams considering the level of the competition. Theoretically at full strength we should be up there but our defending is third-rate so I'd give us odds around 25/1 and that's at full strength, put Welbeck, Iwobi and co in the side and I'd say more like 100/1.

Thing is whilst none of them are standout sides (Dortmund and atletico being on the slide) they are all sides who we can’t play second string sides against and expect to beat over two legs.

Some decent away days there, if you don't mind the football, St Petersburg might be a bit parky though :barscarf:

I hate Giroud with a passion but Welbeck makes him look like Harry Kane.

Iwobi is a non league player

We paid more for Chambers than Spurs paid for Alderweireld think about it

bellerin also covering himself in glory after spending last week running his mouth off, all talk no walk yet again

crying out loud, if we score then the contest is pretty much over but there is still a big humilation there if we lose or draw on the night, winning the efl cup won't make up for that
We got knocked out the fa cup 3-1 home to Watford in 87
Takes nothing away from our league cup win

Bellerin proved his critics wrong tonight.

Iwobi is one of the worst players to pull on the shirt in the Wenger era. He is absolute trash. Another no-mark footballer who thinks he made it when he first came on the scene rather than actually developing on from there. He's on social media speaking like an absolute twat with his 'gangsta' slang and all that #Big17 nonsense; 17 is the number of times he gives the ball away in each half.

Welbeck. I have nothing to say. I'm not even going to waste my time.

Pathetic performance. A new boss would probably offload most of this lot. :barscarf: :barscarf:

The AKBs were relatively quiet on Twitter last night..a few diehard loyalists defended the indefensible with.."what's all the moaning about ..we are through" to " well I want us to win every game but that is impossible, rather lose tonight than on Sunday "...
