Spoke to Scott/OMM and if everyone is happy with this the words on the stone will come from his family.

As for a wreath, if there is enough in the kitty, the old style cannon comes to mind or the word 'Gooner' or maybe a combination of the two.
Absolutely! And well done for arranging this and giving us all a chance to show our respects to a fellow gooner.

Good on Sue as well for showing that Arsenal do have a human face.

I have been asked by Hopey's other best mate Jared, who has held everyone together the last few days today that even though he is a Liverpool fan, i showed him this earlier and it blew him away, that he thinks this is, like me, unbelievable, and getting a donation out of a scouser is quite something!

I havent donated personally yet but rest assured i will, just got a few things to sort out at the moment.

I will be speaking with Hopey's family over the next few days regarding the wording, i have an idea what i would like to put but need to run it past them first.

Once again, thank you all so much xx
one of us mate. If we could do more I'm pretty certain we would. keep your chin high

Just to let you know my wife bought me a stone for my birthday at the begining of November and we have just had confirmation of where the stone is set. its not the quickest process in the world, unless they speed up the process due to the nature of it.

Brilliant idea lads - I need to open a Paypal account before I can donate, so I'll do that this evening.

Great to see so many donations.... looks like that brick and wreath are within reach! 8)

I think the stone outside the armoury is an excellent idea but just a suggestion any money over from the stone might be better spent given to a cancer charity or something, flowers are nice but afterwards go to waste at least if the excess money goes to charity it might do some good long term.

As i said just a suggestion and if flowers are decided upon that is no probs at all with me
