Just felt people should know about the funds so no fiddling is going on.

The refund has been processed and take 5-7 working days to clear.

On another note, any news on getting the stone laid quicker Percy?

I have emailed Arsenal today but no reply as yet.

Sorry but I haven't been involved apart from the early contact regarding the stone.

Perhaps we should all email the club asking for an earlier date. We would need the reference number and the address of whom to send it to but it might work if enough of us pester them.

I hope the eight months can be brought forward. I was getting drunk watching U2 at Glastonbury (on tv unfortunately) and raised a slurred toast to Steve. I remembered a post about his dad reading the forum from time to time while listening to their music.

The most important thing is that this thread and the impact Steve made here has meant something to Steve's family and friends. Anyway, when you guys arrange a drink when the stone is sorted please let me know. I'd appreciate the chance to raise a glass in his honour with you guys and gals. :barscarf:

Scott, have you got in touch with MKGould ref the charity number for the hospital yet? It would be a shame to see his companies generous offer of doubling the money go unused.

I havent got in touch with him yet, luckily as i was meant to give a cheque to Mick (Steve's Dad) on Friday

I will send him a pm tonight, it actually states the following for the hospital:

Neuro ITU at Queens Hospital, cheques payable to 'UA E6 NTU/NHDU' and sent to the funeral directors, not sure if this is classed as a charity or not, if it is im sure we can qualify for 'gift aid' as well, maybe someone else can confirm.

Look forward to seeing you soon

Scott

I've left a voicemail to the guy at the charity associated with the Queens Hospital. Just wanted to ask whether we could donate to the charity and be sure that it would find its way through to the Neuro ITU. I'll let you know when he calls me back.

There is an apology thread from Onemoreminute in the main forum somewhere.
