THE NORMAN WISDOM MEMORIAL FILM THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Sorry mate can not stand Shakespear :banghead: pretentious shite
Shouldn't that be Alas, mate I doth not liketh ye pretentious old codger ?
I would venture it was more a case of:

T'was so that only a mere portion of the heavens and its stars were available to the greatest quarter of his small un-enligtened mind, and thus he was known and measured amongst the quiets of other's for even his grasp towards more earthly realms did see him falter, where he did fall and stumble often, as if his words were wet confetti in a storm where bells did neither toll nor upon the folk call to bear their faith and truth, for less they did, his grasp to even those things most natural wouldst seem yet even more diminished..
In English please

Two really great films in the last couple of weeks:

Hell or High Water: Jeff Bridges in fine mumbling form :D

Manchester by the Sea: Casey Affleck in award winning form.

Bloody hell Yankee, how about a spoiler alert! that trailer was surely giving away far too much of the movie? - I turned it off half way through; if I'd kept watching I'd know doubt have no reason to watch the movie at all - It's already ruined the surprise :banghead:

Watched a weirdly strange but compelling one the other night,"The Assignment."
The assignment itself is not " a mission."
Almost feels like a video game to watch,it's like one of those things that you can't help but watch, like an unfolding accident.
Sigourney Weaver, and Michelle Rodriguez from the "Fast and Furious" films are in it.
One of those movies that may aqcuire cult status
