The Invisible Guest - 8/10

Very good, old fashioned thriller. Who done what to whom? Nicely done.

:barscarf:
thanks for that mate, that was a superb film; 8.5/10 8) - it reminded me a little of The Secret in Their Eyes (another superb film by the way  )

Speaking of superb films....

The Handmaiden (Korean movie) - from the director of Oldboy. Also 8.5/10 :barscarf:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4016934/
..and my wife liked it as well. Loses a point for being 2 and a half hours long. Otherwise, top-notch film making. :barscarf:

If you haven't seen the new Star Wars film, don't. What a pile of disappointing shite that was. Fucking turgid boring pointless rubbish. I kept expecting the end credits to read;

"Written, produced, directed, everything by George Lucas"

because it was on a par for shitness with episodes 1, 2, 3 and 6 that he ruined. It was THAT bad. :censored:

Remember watching Star Wars, and Return of the Jedi but never engaged with the ongoing series. Think I'll continue along this path. :)

Been watching "The Americans" on Amazon (about a couple who are KGB agents living and spying in the USofA in the 1970's) Excellent & Highly Recommended.

Three Billboards - 8/10

Flawed in parts but not enough to detract from its overall excellence.

Bit of contoversy stirred over the racist cop, played brilliantly by Sam Rockwell, not getting his due. Then again, that's probably quite accurate.

A stirring story - tragic and funny at the very same moments.

If you liked the kind of stuff from the film, "In Bruges", then youll love this. If not, then a note of caution.

8/10 for me as well. Sam Rockwell was great. Not the best film I saw this year but it was good.

Ah, glad you finally go around to watching it

Not sure about Shape of Water; I see why it won the Oscar and I did like it, but I enjoyed Get Out and Three Billboards much more.

TV series rather than a movie, but Stranger Things was awesome. :barscarf:

Yeah, my wife really likes it as well. Maybe we can get you two together

If you didn't catch "Slow West" when it was released, then you should.

TV Series: Shetland is consistently great. :box:

Disappointing to say the least. Can't remember what happened, or how it sets up the last film. I'm thinking Police Academy franchise. Yes, that bad. If episode 9 ends with all the fucking Jedi's as ghosts waving at "last jedi" I'm gonna bin the trilogy box sets. Can we blame Wenger for that as well? After all his tenure as Arsenal manager covers the last 5 Stars Wars films.

Interesting theory.... :rubchin: I'm gonna run with it. Arsene Lucas or George Wenger?

Arsene Lucas... the man that ruined Arsenal AND Star Wars. The cùnt. :censored:

The new Blade Runner movie. Oh my dear God how bad was that? Awful film. Boring tedious and bad acting.
