THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Especially for DB10GOONER..Heard on the radio today that Boyzone are turning to Ed Sheeran to write some songs for their 25th Anniversary album...It's transfer deadline and last six group stage CL game days rolled into one in a musical sense..Know you are a massive fan of both.

:puke: :censored: :banghead: :box:

Fuck me sideways. Forget the "axis of evil" being Iran, Iraq, and North Korea, it's these cúnts. :censored: :cussing:

It's the End of Days as told in the Book of Revelation;

"And Lo, a ginger demon will usurp the shitty fans of the boyband, and thusly cometh together to strike down the world by their snorting and whining of evil, vacuous, pop shite. And yea verily Satan's right hand, the brainless six-toed Keating, will stalk the Earth and lay waste to all talented peoples through his foul bilge.." REVELATION 13.13.

:worried:

A local music/dvd store in Rugby is closing, happened to be walking past so popped in.
They were getting rid of cds at 5 for a fiver. Most of the stock had gone, but still bought five, one of which has become one of my favourite cds, namely,"Days of Speed," the live acoustic album by Paul Weller.Fantastic album!
For the record the other 4 were,
The Godfather, the very best of James Brown
No Quarter,Jimmy Page and Robert Plant unledded
Scissor Sisters,The Scissor Sisters
Glasvegas,Glasvegas

No Quarter was an excellent CD. Got to see them live on that tour. Closest I will ever get to see Zeppelin!

I came across my old Crowded House CD's the other day ,I haven't played them for years but I must have seen them 15 times over the years ,was a big Finn Fan going back to the ENZ who I last saw in Hammersmith 1980 .
Got me back into my OZ phase and am now digging out all my Hunters and collectors shit too !
Makes me feel old though !

Saw a band called Fireroad the other night in a biker bar in Crumlin Gwent, proper shithole of a town. Bar was great fun and the music good. Fireroad are a Welsh band from Aberdare and have just finished supporting the Stereophonics on their tour. Going from 5-10000 audiences to a 100 people in Crumlin over a space of the week.

Been bigging them up on Twitter last week, thoroughly deserved praise. If the songs they have were to appear on a Bon Jovi album then it would be a platinum seller.

Proper classic rock.
