THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Yeah - serious return to form. :barscarf: 8)
On second and third listening it gets even better. Honestly their best work since the Black Album. And Kirk Hammett's playing has finally matured into top-tier guitarist type stuff. Superb album.

Going really old school MÖtorhead at moment, mixed in with a bit of Thin Lizzy.

All brilliant.

Went to see Bad Manners for the third time up at Norwich last weekend.
Buster has lost quite a bit of weight but still has a hefty girth
They came on stage pretty late (10.30, which is usually my bed time ) as the tour bus was knackered and some guys from oooop north, rescued them so they could play their gig ooooop north the following day.

Max Splodge provided the pre match entertainment - 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps please.

Went to see the dropkick murphys at Brixton tonight. Excellent gig.

The only problem is that, whereas the band wear flat caps as part of their working class upbringing, this just attracts selfie taking hipster twats to the gigs.

They also played a cover of you'll never walk alone so I had to sing "sign on" during the chorus!

Good man :barscarf:

I've walked out of a pub before because of a band playing that crap, which was nothing to do with their style of music just a cheap attempt to score points.

My brother went to see Black Sabbath last night at the o2. I should have joined him as it would have been better than the Watford game.
Anyway he was telling me, hardly anyone knew the words to War Pigs and about a third of the floor left early.

What is it with modern music (and football) fan? It seems to be more about being there rather than actual supporting.
