People not saying thank you when you stop to let them cross
It used to stand out when they didn't
Now it stands out when they do
Another example of the self important snowflakes that make up the world today
Good manners still remain free

me and the missus hold doors for people ,let people through and generally are pretty polite and thank drivers at zebra crossings even though nowadays in London most drivers feel stopping is strictly optional and often drive straight on . When we get a person that doesn't say thanks we smile and say "your welcome " it kills them !

I too am from that school of thought where I was raised to hold a door for anyone; female, male, old, young - it's just common courtesy. I must remember to do that "you are welcome" trick next time some rude fucker forgets their manners! 8)

Very good on the you're welcome front
Some are totally oblivious that it's you who have done them a favour

To be honest we are used to it I lived in Singapore for 10 years and people push in everywhere there and NEVER hold a door for you and look at you like your mad if you do it for them !

But by far the worse are the Poshies ,the entitled folk to whom normal curtesy need not apply , you've all seen them out with their bratty kids with their boys with long hair who push other kids off the equipment on the playground etc

I firking hate them but have learnt how to embarrass them and thus get a laugh out of them,it beats the shit our of scaring them half to death which is my favoured means of communication when i was younger .

People who think there's an h in "were".
People who think that "flawed" and "floored" mean the same thing.
People who think a bicycle is "peddled" (unless it's someone who sells bicycles!)
