George A Romero.

Loved his movies.

Apparently lung cancer took him. I reckon they should have been a tad more theatrical and said he'd contracted a mystery flesh eating virus that sent him rabid. After attempting to eat the doctors face he was eventually shot in the head after body shots mysteriously failed to stop him :shock:

His 1978 original "Dawn of The Dead" was my favourite of his movies. 8)
