The Gooner Chinwag (NSFW)

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

so, using this thread for it's intended purpose...

what car does everyone drive, if any? I moved out of town in November (well to the edge of london, sutton to be precise) and as I was living in St Pancras for many years before (with mum & family, longgggg story) I didn't have a need for a car. As I work about 10 miles away in Bromley I've decided I may as well get a motor as I'm currently paying just over £200 for an all-zones travelcard and I may as well put that money to use on a decent car rather than pissing it into the wind and lining the pockets of those *word censored* at TFL :banghead:

looking at a merc possibly, will be leasing but £15k is the upper echilions of my limit.

Mrs Skizz's dad is a mechanic and does the whole "get a cheap car, run it into the ground and buy another" thing but I've done the whole driving round in an S-reg Citroen Saxo...was not enjoyable. well it did the job but if i'm going to spend money may as well get something I want no?
