The Herd

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Are there any online gooners who can share any stories or personal experiences about "The Herd"? :barscarf:

Don't think you will get any response - they were known as the invisible firm for a reason.

 You Luv a good tear up son.

On another note, with the rash of new users since the protests,it may be worth being a bit careful, especially as the site is probably being monitored,
somebody was even asking if any protests were being planned inside the ground.
Call me a paranoid left winger with experience of anti nuclear and miners campaigns, but it wouldn't be the first time activist groups have been infiltrated.(Where is KingJayson when you need him with the oooh errr mrs retort)

Those that were there know ,those that we not don't need to !
Keep reading those Cass Pennant and Martin King Books and don't forget Jason Mariner !
OK il tell u one
A person who looked like me once picked Jason Mariner up after a game and stuffed him head first onto a plastic wheelbin in front of his mates on Benwell road whilst high on Pink Berliners Ecstasy tablets .
The sight of his legs kicking and the screaming haunt me to this day (not).
Many years later 2009, I went to Bully's (another headhunter bookwriter and old friend) wedding drinks down in Fulham Broadway area and JM was there and looking a tad sheepish ,all in attendance knew what had happened back in the 90's .
We are all talking and someone asked me if I was still "at it" the reply was "no I binned all that off years ago " ..................laugh we nearly shat ourselves .
Its all lies or truth depending on what you chose to believe!

Read that the other day and apart from.calling West Ham the inner city firm  it fails to mention in its reminiscence of Anfield 89, that the Bear was on the pitch behind the goal after Smugers opener and can clearly be seen on the video.
