As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nick taking a couple of days of Next set back for Nicklas Bendtner: VfL Wolfsburg attacker is initially on leave from training. About a possible termination of the contract, it is also planned to give a decision. http://www.spiegel.de/sport/fussball/ni ... 84842.html
He is only 28 so in his prime...maybe on his way back to the glory Football Island ?!
Don't panic. If he's been released and can't find a club by the summer, he'll be back 'training with us' for a few weeks until Wanker offers him a four year deal on more money than he was originally on at the club. He will then use this as an excuse not to sign any other players. The AKB brigade will then turn it into some sort of signing coup when he scores a one-yard mis-hit tap-in against Yeovil Town in the league cup.

I'll never forget TO1AW saying "he's an Arsenal boy" after we loaned his sorry arse around every club foolish enough to take him, until we ran out of takers and we were stuck for another year with his 52k per week joke of a salary. Yep, he'll be back at the training ground soon and we might even hear how the great man is passing on his experience to the younger lads !

I'd be very surprised if Wenger would let him train at the club. If he does he might as well invite cashley, barndoor, nasri, RVP, and Pennant back.

Wolfsburg terminated the Lord http://www.spiegel.de/sport/fussball/ni ... 89153.html
Bundesliga: Wolfsburg terminate agreement with Bendtner
The chapter Nicklas Bendtner in Wolfsburg is finished: VfL has terminated the contract prematurely with the striker. Further cooperation would have been pointless, as Wolves manager Klaus Allofs.
"Niklas and we promised a lot of its commitment to VfL Wolfsburg," Wolves manager Klaus Allofs is quoted: "After almost two years, we unfortunately had to see that these expectations have been met neither for himself nor for us and a would have made further continuation for no more sense. "
As the newspaper "Ekstrabladet" reported from Bendtners Danish native, was last still negotiating the amount of compensation. Bendtner should have demanded from 1.6 to 2.1 million euros. The Danish international was free transfer changed from top English club Arsenal FC to Wolfsburg in 2014 and completed 47 games (9 goals) for the club.
Move on Lord! Ready for a new heroic chapter in the Football dreamland
Cheers,
Thomas
