“Arsenal is not Arsene Wenger. They're not one in the same thing,” Gazidis said on Thursday. "He's been clear and we've always been clear, that's a mutual decision as to how long he'll continue"
Gazidis knows.

Yeah, he knows and has tried. I don't know whether it makes any difference though. He's fronted up at the fans' question events in the past whereas Wanker has hidden like a coward behind a pack of lies and fake stories. Remember that Gazidis is a former solicitor and knows his stuff, he wasn't born into money like others on the board and Wanker can't take the intellectual or socialist high ground with him. Wanker doesn't like him because he's seen through his utter bollox over the years.General wrote:Last time we heard from Ivan

I keep hope that Wenkers statement that staying is his preference and Gazidis saying it will be a mutual decision means that we are not for turning.General wrote:Last time we heard from Ivan

Funny Arsene because you always protested that you had the money?, so are you a liar?.
I think the truth is NOT that he had the money, he didn't but towed the company line so to appease the fan base as much as possible with smoke and mirrors (no better players available etc etc.).

It's taken him a while to chip away at the power base Le fraud has built for years and the fruition of schemes like the pre-season tours and as you say Q&A points to a shift in power. All that stands between them now is wiggy and results, with the fans playing some part. This is why we have to be relentless in our protests and target Le fraud as much as we can. The fence sitters are keen to make the Wiggy Gazidis red herring part of the menu and this must be resisted at all cost.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
For anybody hoping that Ivan Gazidis will be our Knight in shining armour:-
I've written to Ivan Gazidis this week, as one of the Protest Organisers. The letter went by email and was delivered to his personal inbox via a very trusted 3rd party. I have informed Mr Gazidis (very politely) of our position and why we feel the need to arrange these protests. The letter tells him also that the protests will continue unabated until either -
1. Arsene Wenger announces that he will leave
or
2. Stan Kroenke tells Wenger it is time to go.
I told Mr Gazidis also that the protests will stop as soon as one of those two announcements is made by the Club.
Mr Gazidis hasn't even acknowledged our letter !!

'Top 6 is a trophy in itself, it is a remarkable achievement when you compare our resources to the teams around us, Europa league football is something we should strive for to maintain us in the elite of European football, it will help us attract the worlds best and allow us to challenge for real honours next season!'.......or words to that effectxisstential wrote:And if we don't...Look, that is not what is important, what is important .......armchair wrote:If we finish top four this season, I swear it'll be Wengers "greatest ever achievement"

The Merse certainly isn't sitting on the fence

Yet more evidence that the majority of our pre-dinosaur favourites are the ones to trust to tell it as it is.
It is a shame that those who gave us such pleasure in the early Wenger years, eg the likes of Bobby P, can't call it the same way. Yes, I know they love him and think he "made them", but as I said before the early Wenger intake, especially the overseas guys, are more intelligent than the likes of Merse and Wrighty, so you'd like to think they were able to see the bigger picture in terms of the interests of the club overriding the divine right of one man to go on as long as he chooses.

Merson is THE ultimate flip-flopping prick and always has been. One or two decent results and he will change his tune without a shadow of a doubt. It's been like this for years.Bob Bayliss wrote:The Merse certainly isn't sitting on the fence

The irony is that despite being thick as shit he has actually been able to see our faults for years. He banged on for ages and ages when Lehmann went mad that not having a decent keeper would cost us and he was right about that - it was obvious that Almunia was garbage but not many pundits were pointing it out.
But he's always failed to make the link that these constant shortcomings are Wenger's fault.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
As a pundit both merson and redkrapp junior, haven't the brains to fill a smartie As a flip flopper, merse excels and probably is top of the class in that degree People will tell you that it is great when he comes out publicly slating wenker, but he gives credence to the suggestion that us wob are fickle fans cos only a few weeks beforehand he was probably defending the French c.unt
Even in that piece he undermines his credibility by calling for wenker to be given 1 more year and then PV4 to take over - now I loved PV4 as a player (probably in my 3 favourite Arsenal players of all time , and I would love to see him manage The Arsenal someday, but he is nowhere near ready yet. As I said lately, I have zero problems with the next guy being hired as a "patsy" to take the fall if/when things go tits up, but I don't want that "patsy" to be a player who had served the club so well over a number of years
