As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
All 3 games of that semi final were mad mad games . We were so poor in the first game and we only lost 1-0 .,could and should have been 3 or 4 .
We went behind in the 2nd game too before we came back through vivian and nail quin .
We had fans in all corners of the ground a group of us where housed upstairs in the top shelf ,Ive never seen a battle like it just to get out afterwards.
The last game again we had fans everywhere and as u saw loads hit the pitch afterwards including some mates of rockys from south london !
The celebrations in the road afterwards where a sight to behold , NO spurs anywhere we were dancing in the road all the way back to north london !
Swamp dwellers had crawled under a rock we ruled London at this time ,no one could get in our way !
I stayed out all night and went into work still buzzing ,we had our pride in our team and they had pride in playing for us . Credit must go to George Graham for this as well as the players .
We were together, they were us and we were them ,and we all knew it !
Some brilliant footage there, Embarrassed to say I had forgetton Allinson and Caton, they played a lot for us as well
The state of the pitch is amazing, it was pretty frequent- no wonder really that tippy tappy exists now and not then. What a fantastic run from Charlie George- given the state of the pitch it was a far braver and better effort than "The Welsh wizards " goal against Manure

Some of my greatest days and nights in a football stadium
Anybody belittling the league cup has no clue about the clubs history
We fucking owned Tottenham high road that night
Every Islington face was there
