Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
Re: Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
I do all my shopping at Arrods!
Re: Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
Usmanov worth around 14 Billion, so 30% around 4 billion, former poster stated would be required....Rubbish...way over valuation
Anyway Kronke in it for the long term will not sell especially to Usmanov
Not really in it for the money, in fact hard to see why he would bought Arsenal, i really don't understand why?
One things for sure we are stuck with him and his son for the foreseeable future
He can withstand any so called pressure not that any coming his way from Arsenal fans
Did not show too much mercy when dealing with former residents on his half of Texas....

Nothing new here really, hopefully someone else can come in as well as Usmanov, who the wigged c**t might be prepared to cash in to.
So envious of the German 50+1 model, it just feels like we are a toy being played with by either profiteers or sugar daddies seeking a plaything, sadly in an imperfect world anyone would choose the oligarch over the asset bleeder, surely?.

Even though Ajax’s success had increased during his tenure, Overmars wasn't particularly popular among the club’s fans. Rather quickly, in fact, he earned a reputation for being stingy.
Ajax supporters grew frustrated at his refusal to spend money in the transfer market, while the club was raking in huge sums for some of its outgoing transfers.

Maybe this is the reason he is being rumoured as potentially our first DOF?, saving money is the name of the game as per usual..

Herd wrote:Usmanov is a buddy of Abramovic and the latter goes in Usmanov's box when at the emirates as A doesn't like wearing ties .
GAZPROM who Usmanov owns have a box at Chelsea Usmanov wants his own football Toy to play with .
Spurs arent for sale or west ham so that only leaves us !
Stan isn't selling but you might see his son become CEO if Ivan walks though cos he will want to blood him b4 he starts managing the US franchises.
Might relocate us to Bristol !
Abramovic was at the Arsenal v Spuds 1-1 home game as a guest of Usmanov this season. I also have it on good authority they are mates.

Re: Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
Fair play to Usmanov though, think he has a genuine interest in Arsenal...
talking about Arsenal ......
"Vieira, Gilberto, Lehmann, Bergkamp, Sol Campbell, Wiltord," he offered before adding with a smile. "Oh, my love, Pires, I really love Pires and I think Clichy, he was in the team but didn't play. Ljungberg........very good team."
Not sure Kronke could name one Arsenal player, past or present

lets hope usmanov's second offer is good enough to secure the deal so we can move on as a club with someone who actually wants to achieve something on the field.
Re: Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
What our former board members did was beyond daylight robbery. They loaded debts onto the club's books, the fans picked up the bill and as the debts went down the value of their shares increased. Not a single one of them put a penny into the club. That bitch Bracewell-Smith pretty much tipped the balance in Kroenke's favour. She run a Twitter account until a few years ago when she got too much abuse and gave up. Now resides in the tax haven that is Monaco enjoying the millions she robbed from the club.Redarmy wrote:NickF wrote:This. Usmanov has made his move and if he fails he's out.
Re: Usmanov offers Wiggy a Billion Quid for Arsenal
Can't see Wiggy selling up - its a hopeless situation at our club. The owner is an utter c.unt who couldn't give a shit about what happens on the pitch and is wedded to another c.unt, aka TO1AW, who will continue unchallenged with his endless project. All this talk about a Director of Football - really? Can you see that role having any authority when TO1AW has been running the place for 20+ years.

I despise Kroenke, even though his 'only' crimes are not sacking The Old Fraud and taking money out of the club twice.
Some of us are deciding to take Usmanov's words at face value, others are reading in between the lines. I can't see him telling the truth about TOF whilst he's on the outside looking in. It's logical to assume it's a smokescreen. Regardless, the Yank parasite isn't going anywhere.
I remember in the years before Kroenke took over, there was clearly a preference for the American over the Uzbek; call it Cold War bias. Not many people knew how bad Kroenke would be, but the signs were there. TOF was also in the midst of his penny-pinching dogma, using the austerity lie and swayed quite a few fans to not wanting another Abramovich here. Better to be 'independent' and all that bullshit.
The people to blame for this clusterfuck, are David Dein for bringing both Kroenke and Usmanov in, and Nina Bracewell-Smith who ended up being the king-maker and sold out to the wrong man.
It's a shame how these recent events have clouded the more immediate concern about the other parasite in our dugout. We shall know by June 1st.
