Chelsea (N) | FA CUP FINAL | Sat 27 May 2017 | 17:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Eggist.

I Love the FA CUp Competition - Right back from the days when it was one of the rare, rare games shown in full on the TV - before we have 4 channels, never all this Terrestrial / skyshyte/verginvomit etc

But I am so fearful of us being Utterly Humiliated on Saturday...I really cannot build up ANY Enthusiasm - I would be a million % more excited if I head that wenger had fuckedOff.

Thanks wenger youCUNT - You have made my life as a Gooner miserable.

I obviously want us to win on Saturday, but if we don't, then a part of me, hopes we get smashed. If we lose 2-1, you'll have Wenger talking bollox about how great we did(with a depleted squad) and he will take some sort of moral victory from it.

Absolutely right. If we don't win, then we NEED to be properly smashed. My fear is that Chelsea will do just enough to win while avoiding the risk of applying the coup de grace to the gift that has kept on giving to them for 12 years and counting.

What will the team be for this game?

My guess would be that he will revert to 4-5-1 given the options available:

Cech

Bellerin, BFG, Holding, Monreal,

Ox, Ramsey, Xhaka, Ozil, Sanchez

Welbeck

Same goes for me, i am pretty skeptical that we might stand anywhere there. It breaks my heart saying this.

I doubt Wenger will go for such an attacking line up, he has got more conservative against the top sides in the last couple of years (maybe just this year), I'm fairly confident Coquelin or Elneny will be shoe-horned in somewhere, knowing Wenger Ramsey on the right  and Coq instead of Ox who will be "a leetle bit short" or "lacking a leetle bit of sharpness". :blah:

Tbh I think he'll more likely go with a back line of;

Bellerin, (BFG or Holding), Monreal, Gibbs  - all of course depending on injury.

Or he'll go full silly bollocks and play three at the back and watch in disbelief as they pick us apart down the wings. :banghead:

Mustafi will play and I have no doubt about that - of course this dire need wouldn't exist if the French cock had used some common sense last week and not played kos when he was suffering constantly with an injury

Nonsense, the real cup final was against Everton where we had a chance to win the real trophy - top 4 shareholders, manager, players bonus cup.

I hear the victory parade on Sunday has been cancelled - though doubt there will have been much preparation gone into it anyway...

I can't believe any Gooner could take any consolation in losing an FA Cup Final to the chav. What the absolute fuck, lads?

I hope we smash their living arseholes in and stop them winning another double. Obviously, having a functioning brain and all, I'm not confident we can do that, but I fucking hope and pray we do. :box:

UTA!
