Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
The biggest mug is Wenger, who will probably reject the offer as they are "part of his plans".GoonerMuzz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 11:19 pmMugs, theycan have themmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 9:46 pmThe Daily Star claim West Ham are ready to offer £50m for Walcott & Giroud.

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
I think Steveo mentioned it earlier but we always seem to sell our players for below market value, Sanchez will probably go for 35 million which is peanuts in today's football.
We will then buy this lacazzette fella for 60 million no doubt and pay him 175000 a week, fekin bargain

Alexis back off holiday yet?
Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
He's at the confederation cup which ends on Sunday and then presumably holiday.
Can see this dragging out all summer....

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
Might be the American in me, but instead of Mahrez we should be going after Christian Pulisic as a replacement for Sanchez. 19 years old and is already a really good player. Has the drive and the skill to play at top level, and could probably be gotten for a decent price right now. Mahrez is lazy and languid ie: Ozil. Can't carry two of those types.
Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
Does it really matter at this point? We have actually gotten worse with Sanchez. He is not the type of player you build a team around. Not arsed if both him and Ozil bugger off. Wenger will still be in charge and it ultimately means fuck all.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:43 pmAlexis is leaving - I've suspected that much has been true since our collapse and his sulky little strops ever since. Fine by me - he's an outstanding footballer, and one we could have kept if Clueless and Wiggy had shown any ambition in the past 2 years, but if he is fucked off being here then he has to go. Place in the folder marked Fabregas
If he does go, then the next best we can do is get Aguero in return from City or if he goes to Munich then Lewandowski.....and Alexis seems to be the one in most demand, so if the fucking stiffs like Gazidis who run the club know what they're doing (ahem) then they'll get some money or another decent player in the deal too
Instead, we will no doubt sell Alexis for £30m despite him being a £100m player in terms of talent, and spunk double that on Joe L'Average from Lyon

What I have seen of Pulisic he has a big future so would be a great signing. If Bayern want Sanchez we need to get as many good players as well as money we can although keeping him and adding separately would be preferred.
I don't watch much French football but it worries me that Giroud is ahead of Lacazette in the pecking order. Signing Griezmann would be an improvement but not sure Lacazette is. For up to £30m he would not be too bad but for the amounts mentioned I feel that we are wasting money.
Re Salah, check out his record in Italy. Just hope he doesn't settle!

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
Not actually Sanchez fault that we have got worse, he is easily our best player. Hate to disagree but he is exactly the sort of player we should build the team around.
Does amaze me when people say they don't care if he leaves....
Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
Wenger & Wiggy have killed all hope and dumbed us down to their ticket buying zombie model (well most of us..)
Nothing really changes - just watched highlights of England vs Germany U21's, we lost on pens but that's not what I mean, what I mean is they just look technically better players than us and the Spanish look even better. Sorry bit off topic but this transfer stuff is a non-event at the moment..
Gnabry made some good passes from what I saw.
