As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Totally the wrong appointment. As much as I dislike him, Palace were going places under Allardyce.
And I'll do my bit to get this merged - that's how to deal with an under achieving manager.
Mid to lower half, they would have got there and tread water for the next decade under Fat Sam. That's about his limit...another Pulis, Woy, Wenger...... Would you like to see him come to us??..... actually he might just do a job for us...I can't stand the bloke though so wouldn't work for me.
By going places I meant they weren't going to get relegated and may have sneaked a cup win or into Europe. By Palace standards that is a lot better than what has gone before. Now they're scrabbling around for someone to undo the mess with moral at rock bottom.
And can you imagine treading water for a decade . . . . . . . . . . . Doesn't bear thinking about does it??
Palace could have won that game yesterday with the amount of clear cut chances they created and overall it was a big improvement on previous performances ,they go 1 down early on with an assist from one of there own players they then knuckle down and create over 20 odd chances and 2 or 3 of them were open goals and I think he should have got 2 or 3 more games to see if he could turn it around

22 chances v the 4 of Burnley's, including 2 cleared off the line.. And their next four games are Southampton, the 2 Manc clubs, then Chelsea. Good luck turning that around. Sounds like a job for Woy.

Local boy Woy will have to get 3 points from the saints game as I cant see him getting any from the next 3
It's very hard to have any sympathy for Dr Boer when him and his brother were so greedy in the 1990s. Those 2 were at the very forefront of players turning into greedy mercenarys, so forgive me if I have a little laugh at him getting shafted
I secretly enjoy these managerial sackings and the sheer ruthlessness of it. Fuck their feelings, it's part of the excitement. Heartless maybe but season I thoroughly enjoyed Ranieri getting booted from Leicester whiles the press took turns to blame the players forgetting about his tactical ineptness and the fact that he sold the heartbeat of his championship winning team to Chelsea. Good job I don't own a football club because a certain Frenchman would've felt my Salvatore Ferragamos up his backside quicker than he could say judge me in May.

I think it's great we have the gays on here now. It makes the old place feel very inclusive.

Quite arrogant too especially that fat blond who got Graham Taylor the sack in the Euros....
