CHELSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's not. But it will be if (when) we lose on sunday.

I'm sure Wenger has got his excuses lined up already. I expect the handbrake to be aired post match, along with a leeeeetle bit fatigue. After 6 matches . . . . . . . . .

Wenger already said in his pre match presser that winning the EL isn't the best route into the CL. I really think that in his mind, he would rather scrape 4th on the last day of the season(and wear it as a badge of honour) rather than win an actual European competition. I shouldn't be surprised to see a loser, continue the habits of the last decade.

What he meant was...It's not the best route for him. Europe is an impossible dream..4th place is maybe do able...... It's not, not anymore, not for him anyway.

Even though we taught these pimped cúnts a footballing lesson in the FA Cup Final I cannot see this current Arsenal team get a win in this game. You never know with the PL and we might nick a draw if the chav have issues on the day, but it would be us relying on them not playing rather than us fucking them proper like we did at Wemberleeeee. Can't see us getting hammered 6-0 but I think they will most likely beat us comfortably without having to get out of 2nd gear.

Heart says we nick a draw 1-1.
Head says we lose 2-0 or 3-1. :(

3 - 1

A plucky defeat...all things considered. Nobody will ever consider the "things" because nobody knows what needs to be considered, but it makes it sound like a goodish result.

And will plunge us down to around 14th place...... due to special circumstances

We won't get a spectacular pasting, but neither will it be close. We won't score.

3-0 to the Chavs.

It's not. It was an excuse invented years ago by David O'Leary to explain why Leeds had spent millions and finished 5th or 6th or whatever. Sound familiar to anyone?
