This is Wenger, yet again, putting his needs before the needs of the Club.
It's so obvious that he is proving to Sanchez "I'm in charge" even if by doing that he risks damaging our on field chances. Wenger has turned the entire Club into his personal fiefdom. And we're talking about an asset worth in excess of £50million which Wenger will write off to prove his point.
Why the f*** didn't he just sell Sanchez, get a huge fee for him and replace him? Or even (heaven forbid) build a winning team so that Sanchez didn't want to leave in the first place??
