Xiss, that article is interesting in that i'm fairly sure that most of us have been saying this for a few years on here but up until now the majority of the media has not recognised it or ignored it, but really it tells us nothing we didn't already know except that finally more of the media are waking up.
Going back to the game, i said during the match i was incredulous that people were moaning about the way we were playing, this is Arsenal now and has been for probably a good 6 or 7 years, many Arsenal fans including some on here really do look at our club through rose-tinted glasses. We have not been a league winning team for so many years now, we don't play good football, we don't play fast football, we don't play decisive football except in that rare instance where the stars align, the sun rises in the West and snow falls in September
Arsene is the the manager, recruiter, coach and tactician for this team and every single issue within the team usually stems from him, however i'm going to shift part of the blame from him for once, these players are well payed professional athletes supposedly but fuck me yesterday when Welbeck went off any semblance of professionalism went out the window.
Now don't get me wrong i'm not saying that Welbeck was holding things together, he wasn't but as soon as he went off every player barring one or two shut off. When Kos went off it got even worse, what the fuck is wrong with this bunch of melts, i don't care how bad a manager we have the players should be good enough as a team in a club of our size to adapt themselves to changing circumstances but they can't, as has been said Arsenal PLC really is the Colney Creche.
For those who still maintain Arsene is the first and foremost problem needing removing you are fucking demented, every single thing about our club needs changing root and branch, a change of manager under current circumstances is worthless because i would bet my mortgage that the new manager would be a second class yes man, this club is no longer interested in challenging for trophies, improving in footballing terms or being a genuine force in English, never mind European football. There is only one thing which matters to Arsenal PLC, the Chairman and the BOD and that is money, money, money.
I Guarantee any manger replacing AW would be working under the same constraints as AW and nothing will make me believe that a top class manager would come to this club and spend any more than a year or two here before realising we are a club that is stagnating and going no where and would then be off under the current ownership regime.
