No disrespect to those that turn up week in week out to watch the likes of Fleetwood, this isn't aimed at them, but that's what gets me about the "magic of the cup" shite. When it apparently "means everything for the whole town" but most of them are only there to see the "stars" playing for the opposition, then are nowhere to be seen when they play Scunthorpe in the league.

Its normally the third season before he falls our publically with the owner/board/key players/media, but it seems Pep's success has fucked him off so much he can't resist it already! Truly one of the c.unts of the modern game and hopefully becoming a busted flush, years behind the modern approach of Guardiola. Not a specialist in failure yet but can't see him winning the title these days with his boring brand of football and spiteful attitude to management generally
That's wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I think he's trying it on to see if his tantrums mean he gets even more money to blow on transfers. Him and Benitez are exactly the same, take over at a club, get a load of attention and then whinge and moan every five minutes about needing more players. At least fat Rafa has taken on a challenge at Newcastle whereas Maureen is doing his usual. What he can't stand is that people don't give a fuck about him any more. The press sucked his cock off years ago and indulged his fucking rudeness, arrogance and general abuse every week. Now, everyone's just had enough of the same shit each season. The cycle just repeats itself doesn't it. Start the season with some easy wins against shit teams, everyone in the media says he's a brilliant manager, draw a few, lose a few, get snide comments about being cheated, blame the players, lose to rivals, have a meltdown. Just fuck off.

Delighted to see that miserable prick Hughes going through the wringer and the gradual demise of the Orcs back down to where they belong.

Anyone see City doing the quadruple AND going undefeated in the league?
Or have I been on the mushrooms again?

Yeah I agree, it also annoys me when for example Arsenal are playing at home to Doncaster or such like in a Cup tie. The media make a big deal about the magic of the Cup and the fact the small club have 9,000 fans at the Emirates...but their average home attendance is 5,000..so where do the extra 4,000 come from?Leyton Gooner wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 4:42 pmNo disrespect to those that turn up week in week out to watch the likes of Fleetwood, this isn't aimed at them, but that's what gets me about the "magic of the cup" shite. He was so brazenly dismissive in his interview afterwards - they've had some shocking results and just lost to a League 2 club for fuck's sake. He came out and essentially said they just have to accept this poor run of form. Surely they have to sack him but I hope they don't - the longer he's there the more likely they are to go down.

Despite the 'jobs for the boys' culture in the PL, his stock is at rock bottom and nobody's going to be keen to snap him up any time soon.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:17 pmHe's a *word censored*, was a *word censored* as player, *word censored* as a manager and now he's an unemployed *word censored*.northbank123 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:11 pmHe was so brazenly dismissive in his interview afterwards - they've had some shocking results and just lost to a League 2 club for fuck's sake. He should just take the Wales job and coast through that for 4+ years.

Agree, the whole town love the team suddenly, but never bothered before or after.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 8:08 pmYeah I agree, it also annoys me when for example Arsenal are playing at home to Doncaster or such like in a Cup tie. Saw a clip of the Millwall cup match back in 94/95 ? (We lost 0-2)
A ‘wall fan commented on how many fans they had there, 6,000 at a guess and that we wouldn’t take that many to the Den, obviously oblivious to the fact that the away allocation is based on a % of the ground size ( think it’s 15%) so nobody would get that much of an allocation at a small ground.

Yes. I would fucking love that just to piss off both Man Utd and Wanker. Arsehole Wanker's obsession with going unbeaten was the reason we didn't win everything in 2004. Had he not been such a vain *word censored*, he would have sacrificed the odd league defeat to win every other trophy. His fucking arrogance and vanity in doing something different meant he neglected the greater good. Who fucking cares about one shitty league defeat when we could have won every trophy going?rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 6:57 pmAnyone see City doing the quadruple AND going undefeated in the league?

Hope so. This season and the next few, however long it takes for the far east to get bored and fuck off to watch another league so we can have our game back.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 6:57 pmAnyone see City doing the quadruple AND going undefeated in the league?

Haha we're never getting it back, in a few years the PL will be "on tour" with games taking place all over the World.Leyton Gooner wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2018 1:19 am

Then when it finally does go tits up many years into the future the clubs will come crawling back to the real fans looking for help.
Re: It's back, other games this weekend
So, 30 years after getting knocked out by non-league Sutton United, as then holders of the FA Cup, I hope Coventry can now move back up the league's and get to the Premier League. Got a soft spot for them. Hopefully, Stoke go the other way, I do not have a soft spot for them.

Stoke as shit as they are still managed to take all 3 points up there when the banter bus rolled into town earlier in the season
