A new phrase introduced into the English football vocabulary by the BBC commentator on MOTD. last night.."Pretending to lose your footing"...as in Alli's dive, also known as cheating if you are not wearing the white of Tottenham and England..

Re: It's back, other games this weekend
Disgusting isn't it.... just like "he's won that penalty" or "he's anticipated the contact and gone over easy". It's diving and cheating plain and simple.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:05 amA new phrase introduced into the English football vocabulary by the BBC commentator on MOTD. last night.."Pretending to lose your footing"...as in Alli's dive, also known as cheating if you are not wearing the white of Tottenham and England..
Also did anyone catch Hysterical Scouse Schoolgirl "Carra" embarrassing the entire world with his comment on Salah's goal....?
"Only Messi could score that...."

TBF it was a brilliant goal and I've not seen many like that BUT I have seen Walcott score one similar (if anyone can be arsed to find it on this world wide web thingy).DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:53 amDisgusting isn't it.... just like "he's won that penalty" or "he's anticipated the contact and gone over easy". Yeah plenty of “goes down too easily there” or “no contact there” rather than “dirty fucking diving bastard, let’s grab our pitchforks and remove this scourge from the game. Eight match ban.”
Everybody agrees that diving is a bad thing and the FA are only interested in being seen to do something about it - in practice they don’t have the inclination or the appetite to actually do it. You’ve got a game with a massive TV audience and at a key point a striker blatantly dives to win his team a penalty. Will they use the law specifically envisaged to punish this sort of profitable and abhorrent cheating and ban him? Will they fuck.
Jamie Redknapp afterwards told Harry Kane what a credit he was. Sickening.

Because high profile English players (and based on Bale Welsh players too) get a horrendously easy ride for cheating. Bale, Rooney, Gerrard and Alli all regularly dived, the first and the last especially.LeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:42 amWhy do you have to bring England in to it every fucking timeBradywasking wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:05 amA new phrase introduced into the English football vocabulary by the BBC commentator on MOTD. last night.."Pretending to lose your footing"...as in Alli's dive, also known as cheating if you are not wearing the white of Tottenham and England..
Whereas players like Pirès, Ronaldo and Suarez were all branded cheats and carried stigma for it for the rest of their careers.
The FA won’t ban Kane just like they didn’t have the bottle to ban Shearer when he was their best striker. And just like they appealed Rooney’s ban which covered the first few games of the last World Cup even though they would have slapped a club player with an extra ban for a frivolous appeal for doing the same.

Football is the only shameless game in the world in the sense players dont value their reputation as an honest player. In cricket, players vigorously defend their sportsmanship. Not football though, no such thing as honestly among professionals in this game

Was against Newcastle, we won 7 - 3 (yep one of those Arsenal afternoons) Walcott actually went down and would have had a pen but got up and scored in similar fashion to Salah, albeit from the other side.LeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:45 amTBF it was a brilliant goal and I've not seen many like that BUT I have seen Walcott score one similar (if anyone can be arsed to find it on this world wide web thingy).DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:53 amDisgusting isn't it.... just like "he's won that penalty" or "he's anticipated the contact and gone over easy". If memory serves Sagna was responsible for all 3 of their goals

Please don't take that as a criticism of England it is a comment about the failure of pundits and commentators to accept that English players also cheat..LeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:42 amWhy do you have to bring England in to it every fucking timeBradywasking wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:05 amA new phrase introduced into the English football vocabulary by the BBC commentator on MOTD. last night.."Pretending to lose your footing"...as in Alli's dive, also known as cheating if you are not wearing the white of Tottenham and England..

Well tbf they actually gave even bigger and more elaborate excuses for Gareth "Cornelius" bale when they proclaimed that he "anticipated" contact when diving over thin air and did so to avoid injuryBradywasking wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 11:00 amPlease don't take that as a criticism of England it is a comment about the failure of pundits and commentators to accept that English players also cheat..LeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:42 amWhy do you have to bring England in to it every fucking timeBradywasking wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:05 amA new phrase introduced into the English football vocabulary by the BBC commentator on MOTD. last night.."Pretending to lose your footing"...as in Alli's dive, also known as cheating if you are not wearing the white of Tottenham and England..

Thought everyone knew that it is only dirty foreigners that dive, never English players and certainly never Arsenal players.

Klopps more of a moaner than Wenger and just as big a fraud!
I’d prefer sperz to get top 4 ahead of those *word censored*

Yep. Almost definitely. The one who isn't really their own will do his usual of putting his leg out for helmet-head to crash into or for a defender to move his leg out of the way and over he'll go. It won't be a penalty in a million years but the ref will still give it and the tv companies will say things like 'minimal contact', 'seen them given', 'clever play'.

Well forgive me for thinking wilshere is English and an international because he was called a diver by sky and bbc pundits one a few games ago when they said he should have received a second yellow.northbank123 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:49 amBecause high profile English players (and based on Bale Welsh players too) get a horrendously easy ride for cheating. This is some kind of myth that is nonsense, take for instance deli Ali, how many times has he been booked for diving? 7 probably so the English refs don't go easy on him then.
