Roman might be a caant, but it would have to be more than 3 piss pot of Europe titles and a meagre French treble....clockender1 wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 2:20 pmSky are reporting that Unai Emery is in London to meet with the club today.
46 and 3 three Europa League Titles, and the triple in France under his belt.
so off to Chelsea perhaps ?

Just seen Arsenals new management structure they put in place last summer. Bloody hell, you go from one person doing everything to 6 doing various roles.
I mean how the fuck would anyone want to work in that sort of structure.

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Emery would be much better than Arteta, but again not really one of the top managers.
I do feel though that possibly our expectations, myself included, may be a bit high these days. We finished 6th in the league and semi final of the EL, we appear to have a limited budget and a team in chaos requiring a significant overhaul..... so maybe being realistic a manager at Emery's level is about right
I don't like it, but there it is.....

Arsenal are in serious talks with ex Sevilla and PSG manager Unai Emery. Lack of control over transfers led to Mikel Arteta rejecting the proposal from Arsenal. Ivan Gazidis has been locked in talks today with the Spanish managers reps over a 5 year deal #BBC #Arsenal

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Well he might be free.... or dead..... my sons team had the league wrapped up and the fucking idiot coach changed them from a really effective 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1 for the last 3 games to accommodate his own kid who is fucking useless and they lost those last 3 games and finished 2nd.GoonerMuzz wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 5:57 pmGive him Ivans number, you never knowDB10GOONER wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 5:54 pmMy kid's Under 14 coach might be free this summer.....
Myself and a few of the other football playing dad's had a right go at him and one of our number has gone to the club committee about it. Shit be flying.
Actually he'd still be an improvement on the last 10 years of Arsene.....

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I said before the new structure might be a stumbling block for some managers, as Herd says Ivan and his triumvirate want to retain complete control but some managers won't accept that, even in Europe managers have a certain leeway in picking and choosing targets at the big clubs
