2018/19 home kit

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We now have a sleeve sponsor....Visit Rewanda.

What the fook?

It's a tribute to Paul Kagame, the President of the country who a few years made a speech about how Wenger should leave Arsenal. Rwanda is also home to some sort of Gorilla that people pay a fortune to watch and who do fuck all. The comparison with Arsenal is perfect.

The Rwandan genocide sprung to mind for me too.

I'm surprised we're now not sponsored by the ICTR.

I'm sure wenger already has

it's not that bad tbh, miles better than that dour effort from nike in 2008-10 that made us look like charlton. not a fan of the striped armbands.

a bit more worried about the weird electric yellow/cyan efforts they'll serve up for our away and third kits

Just had a second look at the new kit after yesterdays debut and you know what it's still fucking horrible. Did no-one at the club have the nous to ping it back to puma with a request to have another go :?

Maybe I'm getting carried away with the positive vibe at the moment...but I don't hate it.

If it wasn't for the stupid bands on the arm I reckon it'd be quite nice.

Sorry..it’s fu**ing horrible, no question it’s the most ugly thing I’ve seen in my life and I include some women I’ve woken up with in that but at least with them I had some enjoyment, there would be no fun getting inside that abomination. What exactly are they thinking...red body white sleeves, yellow and blue away kit...it’s not rocket surgery people!

Go read the Foreign and Commonwealth advice page on visiting Rwanda, it all starts really nice, it goes down hill a bit when it talks about dodging bullets and artillery shells in my opinion though

just had another look at it - looks class. bit of a twist on the classic (i don't want us the play in the 1971 shirt forever) quite like the star pattern on the top of the shirt and the unique collar.
