For all you Sokratis doubters I hope this makes you feel a little bit better about his potential signing.

Arsenal close to signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Dortmund. Latest acquisition led by Sven Mislintat, continues drive to rebuild defence/squad with experience/leadership. #AFC prioritising ready players & will integrate youth (eg Mavropanos) over time

Try saying his name after a few beers.

Definitely doesn’t look like a snow flake old Sokratis.

Should have held onto his arm before throwing him to the ground.

It appears Minslitat likes Greek defenders and Turkish midfielder's. Political frigging nightmare in the changing room.
I guess that's where the ageing Swiss defender steps in.

I've been reading through some of his old interviews:
An unexamined life is not worth living.
True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing.
I know that I am intelligent, because I know that I know nothing.
sounds like a right philosophical *word censored*, maybe a bit of a joey barton wannabe :?

Liverpool have bought Keita and are closing in Fabinho and Fekir, players who were heavily linked with us. Meanwhile at Arsenal, Mslintwat is buying dead end players that nobody else wants.

I've never heard Joey Barton being referred to as a philosopher type before, a wanker yes.

Calm down buddy ........ the keita deal was done last summer, whilst fekir plays in a position that we have too many players already

Midz, in recent seasons I cant think of more than 1 or 2 shit players that dortmund have had, so if we are buying from them then at least the player is likely to be a good one. I will say that showing a clip of him brainlessly throwing a guy to the ground, does not make him a good player or a tough player - I seem to remember a few on here going into wankathon mode over gabriel doing something similar for us, and that goofy brazilian fcuker was useless

What are you on about? Fekir and Fabinho are better than what we have in their respective positions.

So what if the Keita deal was done last summer, shows they are not messing about by adding those two.

Emery should already be looking to bin Ramsey if he doesn’t sign an extension, Ozil is stinking up the place and needs replacing, same with Xhaka.

Club has needed a solid DM like Fabinho and we aren’t even making an effort to get him and he’s going for £43m odd.
