Nobody coming and we can’t shift a single one of the fucking dross out the door either.

Sokrites, Mustafi, Chambers, Nelson, Torreira, Guebdouzi, Ozil, Lacazette.

Stuck with the fucking lot of em :banghead:

Sokratis - age is against him, and we were apparently willing to let him go on a free

mustafi - gary neville said valencis couldnt give him away ......... now we know how that feels

Chambers - injured for a while still

Nelson - might still go on loan

Torreira - player treated poorly and we are now bending over to take it up the jacksie by ath madrid

Guendouzi - out in the cold now cos the club and media have done such a good job labelling him as a trouble maker, that no club will now sign him

ozil - german/turkish c.unt only motivated by money. No decent club will touch him next summer even on a free

lacazette - lazy b..astard is too happy where he is

I still think maitland-niles will be sold before 11pm monday night - we desperately, desperately need money and will probably sell anyone if there is cash on the table

Is Kalou still playing, we surely will be linked with him for the millionth time  the club is a joke when it comes to negotiations as every club we approach sets a price and we do our best to low bar and haggle them until that club tells us to fuck off. We will be scraping around now trying to get some overpaid dross to add to the deadwood already infesting our club. I still think Aubameyang signed his new deal after getting assurances on new signings, since the club have bullshitted him on that, can't imagine he will be too happy.

We haven't had the last minute trolley dash for a while and as Arteta himself joined the club during the last desperate dash, he probably feels some affinity towards it and wants to do one himself. If all this latest news is true, fuck knows what's been happening and where we go now.

Is Ozil’s standing in the game now so low that he couldn’t be used as a makeweight in either the Partey or especially the Aouar transfers?

Wouldn’t he bring massive profile to Lyon or would he even be arsed going there? You’d think they’d be interested in someone of that standing in the game and with the majority of that league being Mickey Mouse he’d tear it up for the most part.

Also Atletico under Simoene are a phenomenal defensive side but they do lack that creative spark, would they have any interest in him? Would he go there being a former Real player? He doesn’t strike me as someone who’d give much of a fuck about all that.

Or is he just content to never play ball again and sit around doing fuck all for a year before packing it all in? What a fucking waste.

A couple of weeks ago ssn was talking about manure feeling that dortmund not being realistic about their financial demands for sancho in the current climate, and a few minutes later they were talking about how themselves and roma were finding it hard to agree a deal for samlling, and I thought to myself that manure are a cheely hypocritical shower of ba..stards - we are the very same as them. We low ball clubs when we are trying to buy their players and cite the financial restraints in this climate, but then we got all indignant and holier than thou when clubs bid low for our players

We have only ourselves to blame for this mess - if we wanted Aouar and felt that he would be a big addition, then we should have gone in and paid the extra £5m-£10m and be done with it. You would be sending a strong message to the player about how much we want you, plus we would also be sending a strong message to the clubs trying to buy our players that "we dont need your money to buy our targets, so stop fcuking about with low bids" Clubs have been putting us over the barrel all summer cos they know that we are desperate for funds, but if we do our buying first it takes the power away from those clubs imo

Chavs reject a loan bid from Bayern for Hudson-Odoi with a £70m option to buy at the end of the season.

First of all why in the name of fuck have they rejected that??? Secondly and more importantly how are clubs selling absolute shit for insane money yet we can’t move any c.unt on :banghead:

It's like I said before rodders ......... bad marketing - we "plant/leak" stories to the media suggesting that some players are bad eggs, and we let it be known (discreetly of course) than some players are no longer wanted by the club, and then we stand back and are amazed that no other clubs want said players  As a team/club, I think that it is fair to say that we dont have strong reputation right now either domestically or in europe, and it is possible that clubs are looking at some of our players and saying to themselves that "if they aint good enough for a struggling/shit team, then how the fcuk will they improve us ?" - look around the game now and you will see that the most in demand players are the one's that their clubs continue to say are not for sale, but that isnt happening with us

RMC: Houssem Aouar stayed at Lyon for the following reasons:

1. Did not want to cause Lyon difficulty in the last minute
2. Wants to play Euros, does not want to risk bad integration with a new club
3. Wants to help OL qualify for Europe

Augie I hear ya man, you don’t need to convince me of the shit show we make of things, just look at the hundreds of millions we lost out on in recent years by letting players walk out the door for nothing.

The only one I think we have stung is the victims with the Ox. 40 million quid wasn’t it and he was in the last year of his contract too. I’d actually forgotten all about him until I wrote that.

Having said all that I don’t give a fuck what sort of set up you have, marketing or otherwise, the only way you get a club to offer 70 million quid for Hudson Odoi is if you have a picture of their chairman gobbling down on a cock that he’s not meant to have in his mouth.

That’s insane shit.

Ozil is just about the exact opposite of what looks for in a player. We have been done up like a kipper by Atletico not including Partey as part of the Torreira deal.

Tim Paytom of AST doing his best defence of the club - "Those saying Arsenal don’t spend money. They certainly do. The wage bill is presently about £225m. Totally unsustainable in middle of a pandemic when playing behind closed doors and broadcast deals are being part refunded"

Imagine having that wing wearing leech as our owner but want to defend the club, fucking pathetic.

That statement alone deserves abuse on SM.
