If it was a palace player on the receiving end of any of those 3 incidents it would be a guaranteed red for us.

It is noticeable that sides are trying to kick the shit out of him. And often getting away with it.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 6:42 pmSaka looks a bit rattled by all the unpunished late contact he's received.

Ya know what, I was feeling quite passive re Woy's retirement etc but now I hope we send the old cünt into it with a final home game arseholing.
Sick of watching them kick us apart without punishment.

I often give out about how soft the modern game and modern players are but what these teams do to Saka isn't "tough" play, its cowardly cynical fouling.northbank123 wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 6:45 pmIt is noticeable that sides are trying to kick the shit out of him. Early in the game.
Negligible force.
That's why there have been no reds apparently.

We are playing OK. Goal was good. Palace should have had 3 red cards. If it was us we'd have had 3 reds. Shameful refereeing.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 6:59 pmMissed the first half fellow Gooners how we playing???

Re: Palarseholes A Weds 19th May KO 7pm
Official statement is “negligible force” so no red for Benteke.
Putting aside how ridiculous that is and how many times it will be ridiculed next season when reds are given for infinitely less force, it is seriously worrying that PGMOL are silent other than when their refs make a piss poor decision and then they rush to brief sky sports or BT on why it was apparently right.
When VAR didn’t give our stonewall handball pen at Burnley, sky were reading out a statement from PGMOL within 3 minutes explaining why it was - contrary to the laws of football and all common sense - not a penalty.
Does anybody expect refereeing standards to improve when this is their approach?

I'm fairly sure the match where Auba got his red card was on BT sport and when Walton was asked his opinion at the time he said it was a definite red card because of dangerous play, i'd love to show that clip to him and ask him what the difference was
