There is an Arsène Wenger statue due to be unveiled at the Emirates soon, joining the likes of Thierry Henry & Dennis Bergkamp.

Inevitable wasn't it - on the plus point, another thing destined to keep me away from the bowlmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 11:21 amThere is an Arsène Wenger statue due to be unveiled at the Emirates soon, joining the likes of Thierry Henry & Dennis Bergkamp.

Maybe they do 2 statues - the first lifting the golden trophy, and the second with the arms outstretched pose berating the linesman, 4th official, ref, fixture schedulers, financially doped owners. The "special circumstances" statue.

That second statue would have to include the long unzippable coat, and a massive scroll listing the 245 world class players he "nearly signed".SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 1:45 pmInevitable wasn't it - on the plus point, another thing destined to keep me away from the bowlmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 11:21 amThere is an Arsène Wenger statue due to be unveiled at the Emirates soon, joining the likes of Thierry Henry & Dennis Bergkamp.

Possibly even little bit niggle too.... But even that unfinished statue will be "like a trophy".

And who should do the "unveiling"? I hear there's a certain female French DJ currently un-employed / under-used. Also surely they would have to include 'Le Shopping Trolley'
