I don't agree with that....Eddie is a Championship player. All we need is for him to somehow burgle a hat trick today and we'll be hearing......why waste money on a striker. see what Eddie can do if given the chance....Thynker wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 3:28 pmFor Tierney and ESR not to get a run out on the last day with nothing to play for is a disgrace.
Partey at right back? WTF?
Selling Tierney will come back to haunt us. He'll certainly make Newcastle better.
Nketiah should also have got an opportunity to stake his claim for next season.

We were always going to show up......we excel in this type of scenario, cannon fodder, nothing at stake, at home, no pressure......this is what we are made for.
If the title was on the line it would be 0-1

Good atmosphere by the sounds of it.
Some people will be able to say I was there on the day Xhaka scored a hat trick and left a hero

Great finish.

The most predictable result of the season
Twelve seasons in a row we win the last game, and no defeat in 18 years
Where's the arguments about injuries and fatigue now?
All about mentality.

You watch this with mixed feelings......I knew this would happen, swagger, verve, confidence, a bullying display almost.......all of that went missing when it really, really mattered

Absolutely mate, and a lot of our fans will think this bodes so well for the future, but we know......if there is any pressure, Arsenal teams for the last decade have capitulated. This team is no different.
