What’s the point of giving Arteta a yellow card in a pre season friendly

Tip the ball away - yellow card.

Drag players down to break up an attack, which city do time and time and time again throughout a season with impunity - nothing.

We’re back folks

Yellows in this count for the season don’t they? Which means Partey is already on one of the 5 before he picks up a ban.

He is poster boy for the managers leaving their technical area campaign so they will nail him when they can - problem is that our players are not being treated same by referee so he is right to question ref imo

We’re very slow. Second to everything. Citeh players have time to control the ball and look up before one of ours get to them. We’re standing off them too much. Whenever we get the ball one of theirs is on top of us immediately.
One good chance there though. Havertz was unlucky.

These new rules they kept going on about, do they just apply to us or can the opposition actually get booked for pulling you down or constantly breaking up play? I'm not too sure.

Me too - this is just another pre-season game for me, but watching the ref racing to book ours whilst letting theirs away with similar situations is boiling my piss
