We still have 2 weeks and a day to go and a lot can happen in that time albeit most will happen in the 3rd week.

I see that Buendia at villa is out for around 8 months.

Thought that may see some ESR to villa rumours resurface!

Microfiche is crap championship level. Gironde scored a load for montpellier didnt he?

As for kane no way in a million years is he going. He will stay. And likely sign a new contract as they make progress under BAP as all their fans are wanking over how much he's changed the club already...

Harry Kane has been given permission to travel complete medical tests ahead of Bayern move 🚨🔴 #Kane

Bayern are increasingly confident to get Kane deal done on Friday — as positive final round of talks with player’s camp took place tonight.

It’s about final details now.

They'll be lucky to finish in the top 10

I see Man City offer of £86.5m for Paqueta has been turned down. West Ham want £90m+

What???

FFS!!!!!

Is it just me, or has the whole world gone mad?

Has anyone stopped to think how much £70m/£80m/£90m/£100m actually IS ... ???

The disconnect between these numbers and most people's reality is staggering. I know TV money and merchandising/sponsorship is massive, but isn't anyone concerned that at some point the whole shebang will go tits-up, on a colossal scale?

I’m more staggered that City want Paqueta at all, let alone be prepared to pay that kind of money for him.

You’re right though, these transfer fees are bonkers.

The bindippers have had a 110m offer for Caicedo accepted by Brighton according to reports this morning. I'm not fucking surprised! 110m for a guy who's had one good season? If true that will mean they've spent more on their midfield alone than we've spent in total this window!! Have to say though that a midfield of Mac Alister, Sboszlai and Caicedo should be damned good!!

We started on 60m and walked away at 70 for Caicedo last January and I thought that was bat shit.

Spending 110m on a guy who was a complete unknown 12 months ago is a massive panic buy by the victims. It’s like they’ve felt the pressure of being 24 hours out from the first game of the season and completely soiled their undies.

Caicedo had a good season but there’s a huge amount of media hype around him that has overinflated his transfer fee massively.

Imagine if was english and had just captained his club to some european pub league success - surely cost at least 105m then ?

i think he is the signing of the summer. I wish we had focused on him rather than Rice. It reminds me of when we chose to go for Clive instead of Kante at a similar price point. A top-drawer defensive midfielder is what we have needed since the Invincibles. We seem to have an allergy to them.

Ha ha no doubt Augie

But as I already said on the Rice thread, people expecting a 100m transfer to revolutionise the club will be sadly disappointed because that fee has now become the standard for any kind of “name” or anyone with hype.

Rice falls into the name category, Caicedo, Antony, Mudryk etc. are hype.

Potentially a great player, but he does pick up an awful lot of yellow cards, with th e new rules in place, probably even more this season.

On a positive note it leaves the door open for us to get Lavia, for a “mere £40m”

Harry Kane was being driven to Stansted airport this morning when he was told to not fly to Munich. Turned back. Currently at a family home near the airport waiting for permission to fly. Tottenham trying to change deal at last minute.

The discourse around the Kane transfer in the last 24 hours has been some of the most embarrassing horse shit I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to ingest and I’ve ingested fucking plenty I can tell you.

He’s staying!!! they screamed from the rooftops but no mention of him extending, as if the club would stand over that and burn the transfer fee allowing him to walk for nothing in 12 months. Made zero sense yet they fucking spewed it from everywhere and patted themselves on the back for a job well done.

He’s right to turn down Bayern and stay to break the premier league scoring record, that’s the bigger achievement and will be remembered longer than wining any trophies.

Holy fucking shit did I dream that? That’s got to be a piss take right? Nah that’s the hot take from spit the scouse, his buddy the champagne socialist shill, who spent 2 years championing the rights of migrant workers in Qatar before thinking better of it and fucking off to trouser the mega cash of their state tv station beIN sports instead and last but not least that great bastion of footballing knowledge Michel fucking Owen.

My blood pressure is through the roof already this morning as I’ve seen another clip of rat face bigging up Maguire and McTominay as brilliant signings for West Ham and urging Moyes to get them done. He’s a fucking rat, always pimping the United angle, using his influence and position in the media to push their agenda.

🚨Juventus have approached Thomas Partey’s camp with new talks after the sale of Denis Zakaria to AS Monaco.

Arsenal’s position hasn’t changed - £40million or Partey stays.

One to keep an eye on.
