The bindippers have had a 110m offer for Caicedo accepted by Brighton according to reports this morning. I'm not fucking surprised! 110m for a guy who's had one good season? If true that will mean they've spent more on their midfield alone than we've spent in total this window!! i think he is the signing of the summer. I wish we had focused on him rather than Rice. It reminds me of when we chose to go for Clive instead of Kante at a similar price point. A top-drawer defensive midfielder is what we have needed since the Invincibles. We seem to have an allergy to them.

Rice falls into the name category, Caicedo, Antony, Mudryk etc. are hype.

Potentially a great player, but he does pick up an awful lot of yellow cards, with th e new rules in place, probably even more this season.
