We’re so composed in the league but just become panicked in Europe. Players who are rock solid on a Saturday turn to jelly midweek.
They need to believe they’re good enough to dine at the top table because they just don’t seem to.
I think the issue is that the PL really is that weak we look brilliant in it and then we step up to the CL and are exposed for what we are, a good, but not yet great, team. That's just what I think.
Hey, maybe the lads will prove that theory wrong tonight. Early days yet.
I'm not sure Jorginho is the right man to have as the pivot, too slow against a team full of very quick forwards/midfielders. This game needs dribblers for us to open them up a bit......Leo will hopefully come on at some stage and work his magic.
Let's hope Arteta will calm them a bit and make the point that there's another half and another game yet! No need to panic, play or game, stay tight and force openings, they will come. Bayern are suspect in defence just keep probing.
