Former Gunners now in Essex

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Former Gunners now in Essex

Post by IrishJB »

Hi all,

Re Proposed North East Essex branch of the AFSC.
Firstly thanks to ev one who's replied so far! (especially The Gooner) for putting the ad on the main page.

Around 50 Essex Gooners to date have got in touch, which is great!

But, we need more, as quite a few have yet to give their contact details. So, if you haven't enquired yet, please read the ad on the main page and drop me an email.

I'm hoping to get a meeting arranged soon to elect officials etc and it would be nice (prob unrealistic), but great if i could get a former player along.

Thus my heading - anyone know which former player/s reside in Essex? & how i can get in contact. Prob best to email me offsite.

B Regs

JB

He'll be back. Gus/Percy and I'll be playing in the next one, Spuddy won't have much to do between the sticks... 8)

You're more than welcome to join! But you have S E Essex branch right on your door step 'mrgnu1958' - Entertainments Mgr - umm? now there's a thought. But you'd have to do impressions and do the 'dads dance' and eat chinese food backwards. The last one's prob the easiest after a few beers (well for me it is!)

The SEE Gunners can put you in touch with Perry no trouble, just get in touch via the usual way!

As for people living in Rainham we are always looking for members, especially entertainment officers at South East Essex Gunners :D

Nope. One was a legend and title-winning striker for the Arsenal, whilst the other was a hopeless goal-keeper for the forum team whose performances were, by all accounts, down-right embarrassing!! :goalie: :groaner:

I'll leave you to work out which is which.
