April Sky fixtures.

Post by Pistols »

Anybody know when the Sky fixtures for April are due to be announced? I'm planning on coming over for the Man U and Blackburn games but can't book flights or hotels until Sky sort their schedule out. I thought they operated 2 months ahead.

Last year they were given by February 19th, so long overdue.

They will be announced tomorrow, 24th February.

I'll go out on a limb here and predict that our only Sat 3.00pm game will be at home to Blackburn.

Blackpool, Liverpool, Bolton and Man Utd will all be moved for tv coverage.

Blackburn is going to 5.30, Blackpool is staying at 3pm.

Why not? For a Tele fixture probably the best along with Sat 12.45

Although to be fair Saturday is/was the traditional day on which to watch football. Still, suppose it could be worse and brings to mind this old joke:

Man rings the box office of his struggling football team and asks 'What time's Kick-Off today?'. To which the guy replies: 'What time can you get here?'
