gone fishin' (well kind of)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

gone fishin' (well kind of)

Post by gooner.ed »

forum regulars - just to say that i will not be around much until wednesday next week. out of the country for a week (not holiday though - wish it was!). will have sporadic internet access but in truth no time to get on the forum. so two things to leave you with.

i will get on with the anthem stuff as soon as i get back. sorry about that but i need a clear couple of hours to do it justice in terms of getting the shortlist in place. it's one hell of a thread and if there are no new postings there for a while, i won't complain. i've either been busy as hell or simply unable to get online for the past fortnight.

aside from that, try and behave yourselves and try not to do too many multiple postings when the page does not refresh after you hit the submit button. most of you will have learned the hard way on this. hopefully my fellow moderators will be keeping an eye out for that kind of stuff. we've definitely got rid of the posting of a lot of porno link spam so that's a start anyway.

thanks in advance to gooner 48 who will be posting thread starters for the exclusives in the 'further discussion' section under my name.

see you next week (hopefully you'll have heard the podcast by then, which should go live before my return) - gooner.ed

Wenger heads off to Sardinia & then the Editor heads off on some mysterious trip "out of the country". Are the trips linked? Are they transfer related? Is the gooner buying Arsenal??? I'm sure there'll be something about it tomorrows Daily Mirror......

Deffo suspicious!! Is the Ed the new David Dein??

If so, can you kindly bring back a centre half, a midfield general and a striker please? And a new Bergkamp would be nice... :)
