As much as I despised Spiv Neville as a player I have to admit (with some vomit in my mouth) that he knows his stuff and is the best pundit on TV by a mile. His whiney manc twang is like rubbing a cheese grater against your ears but he is brutally honest and knows the game. A shame, really...

Neville is a very good pundit- him and Souness are the two on Sky who aren't afraid to give an opinion and as a result are both worth a million Jamie Redknapps. Sky like to go for middle of the road punditry, a load of people sat there spouting clichés, not offending anyone and generally saying nothing that adds anything to the match- hopefully Neville continues to stay away from that type of punditry and continues actually giving his opinions regardless of who he might upset
