Political views of realists and rosetinters

Postby the playing mantis on Mon Apr 30, 2012 8:56 pm

This may have been asked before, but interesting thought and bit of psychoanalysis, what are the political views of the WOBs and AKB's? hopefully the mods will leave this in On the terraces.

to my mind the WOB's i imagine, are mostly right of centre whilst the AKB's (at least those old enough to understand political views, so this excludes red member!) are left of centre, indeed liberal handwringers!

in my case i am very much a WOB and very much on the right, with a UKIP'esque view. (although not necessairily agreeing with all their policies)

what about others?

This has got to rank as one of the most ridiculous threads/posts ever on here, and that's saying something.

"I'm a WOB, I'm right wing therefore all wobs are right wing." :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I'm a WOB and right wing... but the two have no correlation whatsoever.

Nice mis-quoting Chippy.... The Mantis stated a hypothesis and asked for people's political views to substantiate it or not. He didn't claim that all WOBs are right wing. Just said he imagined that they would be. I think he has a point. Right wingers tend to be a lot more hard on people. They forget the excuses and focus on the results. Is that not fair? The Left wing populace tend to look at the causes of people's failures. The causes of crime, poverty, under-achievement etc. I think the Mantis has a pretty valid point therefore.
Saying that, any opinion shown on this forum these days which disagress with the Mods is mocked. Should re-name the place Chippy's Personal Fiefdom. :banghead:

You're absolutely right. Liz is short for lizard, and she is occupying a human body until the others arrive...

Answer my point son. You keep jumping down people's throats for no valid reason. And you wonder why this place is a ghost town at times.

As someone who likes to think that he is fairly informed about politics on both sides of the Atlantic, I've always thought it was pretty dumb to say "I am [insert political party/ideology here]".

Here's Chris Rock articulating it far better than I ever could.

 I'm left wing, sorry if that doesn't suit your closed-minded idiotic theory

I'd put money on frank backing up his argument though, fucking banker
