Just got this from the club.We have been made aware that there has been a problem around payments taken on Thursday 7th June and Friday 8th June where a technical issue has resulted in customers’ having accounts debited in error. We are working with our payment services to return monies to customers accounts as soon as possible.
At 13.00hrs today we had confirmation from our merchant services partner that all transactions that were replicated in error have now been processed as a same day refund. All card issuers and banks will be able to see that funds are being returned over the course of this afternoon. Each individual bank or card issuer will have internal processes that will then dictate when you will be able to see this credit applied to your account. You will need to confirm what these timescales are with your card issuer or bank.
We do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and upset that this may have caused. In the event that any customer has incurred charges as a result of funds being debited in error, please can you provide us with a statement covering the period, and we will ensure that these charges are refunded. Statements can be scanned and Emailed to boxoffice@arsenal.co.uk or alternatively photo copies can be posted to;

Please be assured that a full investigation into the matter is taking place and we will be taking steps to ensure that all prevention measures are implemented to prevent this rare event recurring in the future.
