He was critical of the coaching of Wenger's power base. He said that he is too loyal to the foreign boys he buys in from abroad and favours them above home grown Hale End kids that privately the coaches feel to be better players. He said that the club is conning the fans and said the pies were too expensive . Other than that he was quite positive.

Listened to most of the show while at work. Robson very critical of Wenger's tactics and squad, he does go over the top with some of the things he says but I think we would all be like that if we were on the radio giving our views. It was funny when one caller went on about having no regrets about Fabregas leaving and how for the first few seasons he was on a lower wage than others. Robson went on about how thats fine but it cost Arsenal lots of money to buy Fabregas, when the caller pulled him up on how much we did pay he shut up and went very quiet for the rest of the call lol.

What did piss me off was a call from a City fan asking what is the point of Arsenal now. He went on about if City and Chelsea we not about then Man U would of won the league for the last seven seasons without any competition from Arsenal. Robson agreed with him saying that showed how far behind they are, what he fails to mention or notice is that if City and or Chelsea were not about with their huge bank balance then Arsenal would probably not of lost so many players and that we could afford to keep or buy better players. I know it's only one City fan and it's probably wrong to tar the whole fan base with a wide sweeping generalization but :cussing: off you :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: and :cussing: off back the the hole that you came from you :cussing: 's

Danny Kelly said that Robson was sacked from Arsenal TV because he wouldn't 'tow the line'. Anyhow, for what it's worth our Player of the Year 1986 just said what we're all thnking. I don't mind the man as it goes, him and Perry Groves tend to just speak how they see it.
Of course you had the normal AKBs on there, average age 21 saying how wonderful the manager is and where would we be without him?/he's done wonders etc etc
Not a bad 2 hours listening......was better than listening to the wife moaning anyway :barscarf:

Rigsby. He was being subjective. It does not matter to me that he is a Hammer. Not the most eloquent bloke but he says it as it is imo.

See that is my opinion too - I absolutely agree that robson is a wanker but in this case he is hitting the nail on the head imo. Yesterday evening I listened to nutty on ssn more or less defending the club and state it was all about money and when merse came on I really expected a bit more honesty from him but instead got more of the same which shocked and disappointed me tbh   It comes to something when smudger was the more critical of the 3 of them and I am really fed up with ex players and pundits all hiding behind the greedy rvp line and not even mentioning the lack of ambition within the club - for me they dont even have to agree with me that it is the main reason but ffs at least acknowledge it as a very valid part of his reason in looking to leave. Robson, who in the past has defended wenger to the hilt (even last season :o ), was bang on the money here and even referred to his tactical and traning weaknesses and he said things that needed to be said instead of allowing the man to escape flak for everything wrong within the club as if the c**t walks on fcuking water

One more thing , when will the idiots at Talk Sh*te work out that Usmanov has no input to the clubs finances and that the fact that he has more money than Abramovic has no bearing on the clubs spending ability.
