Bayern Munich away tix travel pubs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No, they don't. Think Italy is the only country they do that.

There's quite a few hostels in central Munich, and the s bahn is as cheap as chips. You can get a card at the airport station, which typically German is under the airport.

The sbahn is clean safe and always on time.

I'm flying to Frankfurt, then taking the train. German rail system is excellent but prices can vary a lot from the very cheap to very expensive. I've paid £53 for "savings fare" return tickets from Frankfurt to Munich (3 and a half hour journey) but prices will probably rise nearer the time. Check out bahn.de, you can change the language to English at the top of the site...

Flights Dublin to memmingen with Ryanair €110 and city cnt hotel €80 for 2 nights. Memmingen is called Munich west on Ryanair website however I am well aware it is a shed 100km from Munich. Train journey 1hr 30 min I believe.

Train is 130 return still, 100 return if you're flexible.
