Not seen on the highlights but when Rambo kicks the ball straight for a Villa corner, BFG f**king lays into him and as they line up for the corner, he pats him on the back in a conciliatory gesture.

Not a big deal but when you're quite obviously having a mare' it helps no one for one of your own players to be laying into you.

Rambo could probably do with being rested to get his head right because he is starting to try too hard and over think stuff again.

Totally agree he expects a lot of himself and gets frustrated.

No moaning from me today, an excellent 3pts away from home and Özil had a good game :)

Seen the highlights on motd and ozil did appear to be different class 8) The calmness with which he took his goal showed the top level player he is, but his cross to wellbeck was different class and wellbeck couldn't miss it if he tried. Am happy for wellbeck too cos confidence will play a big part in his progress (if any) for us, and he works hard for the team and deserves his goal (still have major doubts about his finishing ability mind).

Have to say that Chesney did not look secure today at all today (if motd highlights are a fair reflection of his performance) - the save from delph was caused by his poor kicked clearance (wasn't a Gooner within 20 yards of where he kicked it  ), but the save he made from clark was from a header inside the 6 yard box so why the fcuk didn't he come and claim the ball in the first place ?? Even in second half they had a corner (from ramsey's balls up) that flew across our 6 yd box and he was nowhere - when you are already in trouble defending set pieces, the last thing you need is a keeper stuck paralysed on his goal-line

To be fair I thought the save he made from Clark was excellent. Would have liked him to come for it but the ball was really whipped in at some pace and somebody - Gibbs I think (although it's ridiculous he'd be going up against a CB) switched off - should have stopped the ball from getting as far as it did.

But the fucking round with the ball at his feet seemed to creep back into his game towards the end of last season and his focus is diminishing.

I didn't get to see the game so can't really comment..but from all accounts we played a £42m player in his preferred position and he played well and scored....what a fucking surprise!!!!

Agree that Rambo needs a rest, I would also drop Cazorla for Rosicky. Santi has been very poor overall.

Ches seems to be losing his focus at the wrong moment. We have conceded sloppily from set pieces this season which probably has dented his confidence but the defenders including the Ox bailed him out as he bailed them out with his worldbeaters saves from Delph and Clark.

What we need is for us to play well versus the Saints and Ospina to have a blinder, that will surely get Ches focusing his mind on clean sheets and no Mignolet-esque performances.

Another thing, just what type of Captain is Mikel?

At one stage in that game Chambers was really pushing his luck and on another day, a w**ker ref(Mike Dean take a bow son) might have sent him off. Yet watching the game Arteta was nowhere to be seen telling him to calm the f**k down. It's not like we have an abundance of defenders that we can afford to lose any.

Mark Noble for the Spammers, showed exactly what you do in last night's game against the victims.
Adrian was getting into pointless handbags with Mad Mario and Noble steams in there, not to barge Mad Mario like Jack stupidly would but to tell Adrian to calm the f**k down.

With all due respect teecee, ramsey has had the whole summer off so he is the last player that should need a rest - he has been poor/average and should be dropped as a result but lets not sugar coat it because too many players are given excuses for their poor form and are not held accountable for it

But out of all the players he (Rambo) seems to be huffin n puffin the most - maybe he takes a bit longer to get up to full season fitness <shrug> :?

He looked to be moving a bit gingerly after giving away that ridiculous corner shanking a cross-field ball after an hour or so. Should have taken him off then without a doubt, madness keeping him on looking like he was struggling physically and on a yellow.
